Can You Clean Old Roller Skates with Vinegar

None

Yes!

I love buying used skate on ebay, but of course that always brings with it a risk that you will get something old and rusty. No problem, all you need to do is soak them in vinegar overnight. Then, lightly brush them the next day, rinse them, DRY them, and you're good!

I tried this for the first time a few weeks ago and was shocked by how easy it was, so much do that I didn't properly film it, just an quick video on instagram with my phone:

But now, vinegar soak is my go-to rust solution, both for when I've bought something used and rusty, or if I let it get a little rusty while doing something myself, like hydro-dipping my skate gear.

That's it. I've since made a simple how-to video, go ahead and watch if you prefer to watch instead of read text, and please tag me on Insta (@rollerskaterevival) if this helped you revitalize your skates!
